Functional Evaluation

Functional testing refers to measuring your current abilities. Our functional evaluation includes "dual inclinometry" computerized range of motion testing to measure your flexibility. We use muscle testing to locate strength deficiencies.

Chiropractic Spinal Adjustments

Subluxation specific chiropractic adjustments. Every patient DOES NOT get the same treatment. EVERY visit is different according to the patients needs on that particular day. At Agape Chiropractic, you get your whole spine evaluated and only those segments or regions determined to have less than normal funtion are treated.

Chiropractic Extremity Adjustments

Sometimes joints in shoulders, arms, wrists, hips, knees and anlkes need chiropractic adjustments. This can help people with problems like sprained anles and carpal tunnel.

Massage Therapy

Just as no two chiropractic adjustments are the same, no two massage sessions are the same. Some people need gentle long stroke inflammation moving techniques. Others need deep muscle work, and some just need gentle stress reducing work. Some need injury specific work on their shoulders, neck, or back. Some people need to get rid of their tension headaches. We focus on the patient's needs.

X-Rays

We are conservative when taking x-rays taking only those needed. We take x-rays in-house with a strict quality control to make sure we get the highest quality images possible. This helps us give our patients the most accurate diagnosis and treatment recommedations.

Patient Specific Exercises

We have found that a custom exercise program helps our patients get better faster. It is our job to restore funcion and mobility to your spine. If it was solely up to us, you would have to come in rather frequently for a long time. When patients get engaged in the corrective process and do their prescribed exercises, we have found that we get much better results in less time.

Electical Muscle Stimulation

Electrical muscle stimulation is used conservatively and has some drug free pain control as well as healing benefits.

Ultrasound

Using ultrasound on some injuries can tremendously increase the healing speed and improve the outcome.

Diagnostic Ultrasound

A healthy lifestyle begins in the womb! We offer diagnostic ultrasound for expecting mothers.

Nutritional Counseling

At Agape Chiropractic, we provide in depth nutriton counseling. We teach you a new way to look at food (and non-food) and will even teach you how to do your grocery shopping!

Food Preparation Classes

As if nutrition counseling isn't enough, we'll even teach you healthy food preparation. We offer free food preparation classes. During the classes, we prepare healthy dishes and feed our attendees. We've got to warn you however - most people leave these classes forever changed and unwilling to eat the foods they used to! Even those who think they had healthy diets are amazed. For those who can't attend, much of what we teach is available on DVD.
